I do sometimes think of things other than food!

It’s no secret I love being in America. Having spent my childhood in America there will always be a part of me that misses it. Florida in particular has a special place in my heart, my husband and I got married there, we lived there for a while and we have had some brilliant holidays there. No one is never too old for Disney (in my humble opinion) Our latest holiday was another great one and I  wanted to share some pictures. Remember when we all used to share pictures? Real pictures? I loved the excitement of having your films developed and never having seen the pictures before it was so exciting, such a major part of the holiday!

Always know I’m in the south when I see Spanish moss.

The lovely Winter Park farmers market.

Wonderful Sunchowder’s Emporia pickles and jam made by Wendy at  www.sunchowdersemporia.com

Lake Okeechobee,  so big its like the sea!

My favorite kind of place to eat!

Fried green tomatoes.

Love sunsets, even if not at the beach!

So stormy at Venice Beach

Less stormy at Wabasso  beach.

The best tasting orange juice I ever had!

A rainbow of sorts but with no shape, beautiful. Although a little blurry, picture was taken from a moving car, I wanted to share.

And finally, another beautiful sky. To me it looks like the doors to heaven are open.

I love vacation posts. I had no idea you had lived in Florida…Your photos are excellent. I wonder what kind of camera you use? I’m going to a white on rice food photo seminar next month – can’t wait. I need help for certain! Thanks for a lovely post.
