meWelcome to my blog about food.

I’m American by passport, English by accent growing up in America but living in the UK for many years.

I started this blog after discovering twitter and the wonderful world of foodies.

I live in London with my husband and this is where I share my passion for cooking, I love to cook especially baking and preserving. I’m also really interested in living healthfully. I love healthy food almost as much as I do cake! I just wish I could make myself eat it all the time but..

Like the girl in the rhyme, when I’m good I’m very good but when I’m bad…  I believe I’m not alone in trying to be healthy a lot of the time then failing miserably the rest of the time! For me there seems to be no in between! Therefore in this blog you will discover my split cooking personality and find healthy recipes for the good days as well as recipes for the more indulgent days!

Thanks for stopping by.

I just now realized that you were from the states. How did I miss that? Everything is sure looking good here. Keep up the good work.

Love the sentiment of wanting to be healthy but also enjoying `naughty’ cakes! You sound just like me! I’ve just joined Weightwatchers, but at the same time am writing about marmalade making on my Blog, aswell as painting watercolours of afternoon tea and Belgian Beer!

We totally have the same “split personality”!!!! Thanks for stopping by foodforfun’s expensive ice cream post. I enjoyed reading your watercress soup AND orange cake posts back-to-back–evidence of that split personality of yours;-) Just ran out of watercress, but for sure I’m making your soup when I have more.

Haha – I’m like the girl in the rhyme too!! It’s hard to be ‘very good’ all the time. Oh well – at least we try! Love your blog! Celeste 🙂
