Ingredients:

  • 3 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced into small pieces

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the chopped apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt. Add in the cold, diced butter and mix until the mixture is crumbly.
  4. Divide the apple mixture evenly among 6 ramekins or oven-safe cups. Then, divide the oat mixture evenly among the 6 ramekins and spread it over the top of the apples.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbly.
  6. Allow the Apple Crisp Cups to cool for a few minutes before serving.
