  • 6 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F, and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples and granulated sugar. Toss to coat evenly, and transfer to the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir to combine, and then pour the melted butter over the mixture. Stir until crumbly, then sprinkle the mixture over the apples in the baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  5. Once done, serve the Moist Apple Crisp warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.
