Caramel Apples

Caramel apples are a classic fall treat that everyone loves. In this recipe, we’ve added some extra toppings to take these treats to the next level.


  • 6 large Granny Smith apples
  • 1 package of soft caramel candies (14 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of chopped peanuts
  • 1/2 cup of chopped milk chocolate

  1. Wash and dry the apples and remove the stems. Insert a wooden stick into the top of each apple.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the caramels and heavy cream over low heat, stirring frequently. Once the caramels are melted and the mixture is smooth, remove it from the heat.
  3. Dip each apple into the caramel mixture, turning it to coat it evenly. Let the excess caramel drip off before placing it on a sheet of parchment paper.
  4. Sprinkle chopped peanuts and milk chocolate over the caramel while it is still warm and slightly sticky. Press the toppings lightly to make them stick to the caramel.
  5. Let the caramel apples cool and the caramel set before serving. You can store any extra caramel sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
